Whale Festival & Wine Walk Feb. 26th

The Whale Festival & Wine Walk is back in Mendocino! This year Chowder Tasting will be part of the festivities and is taking place in Crown Hall from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The Wine Walk will follow from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. The festivities begin with the Chowder Tasting at Mendocino’s Crown Hall. Sample a variety of chowders from local chefs in the morning, then enjoy the Wine Walk. Over a dozen merchants will be serving beautiful Mendocino County wines and offering hors d’ oeuvres while you stroll the quaint shops in the Mendocino Village. You can always extend your stroll to include one of the hosted Mendocino Whale Walks and Whale Fest events, you might just catch a migrating grey whale. Or catch the historic cable car trolley and take a ride around the Village.

Chowder Tasting tickets are $20 and Wine Walk tickets are $65 (must be 21 years of age with your ID for the Wine Walk). Combination Chowder Tasting and Wine Walk tickets are available for $75. Tickets may be purchased online and will be available at Crown Hall on the day of the event. The Mendocino Whale Festival is presented by the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce. The goal of the Chamber is to promote, support, and improve the business and economic climate on the Mendocino coast, enrich the lives of its residents, and encourage a strong sense of community.
